An unfortunate update: I will no longer be working with the Producer/Engineer that I had been working with since mid-2024. It's a legal issue and I cannot comment further on this….SO, I've decided to INVEST IN MYSELF! I'll be buying the gear necessary to record my music myself! It's a substantial investment and it will take some time to get all the equipment needed. This has been a substantial setback, but in time, this is what's best for the future of CDV. I've been using the past few weeks to research the best gear, as I will not compromise in quality. I'm VERY excited to be able to work on MY schedule and be more consistent in releasing music. I'm excited to get single #5 out, as are the guest musicians that will be included in this release. It's EXTREMELY personal, intense, and sonically, will match the subject matter. Another slower, heavier-groove tune. The subject matter is about my grandmother June, who was one victim of a triple-m*rder/sui*ide. Her husband, my grandfather, sh*t my grandmother, before turning the gun on himself. The lyrics are from the perspective of my grandmother, who suffered abuse from her co-dependent, alcoholic husband. But he now must “live” in the shadow of my grandmother in the afterlife…..THANK YOU for your understanding in this untimely and unfortunate matter.
